Bath Opera celebrates double win at NODA awards

Our 2022 Summer Tour production of Tosca became a double award winner at the end of May following the NODA Awards ceremony at Plymouth Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Alongside joint winners Bristol Opera, Tosca was awarded the Gerry Branton Award for best operatic production in the South West for 2022. This was in addition to the NODA District Achievement Award for 2022.

Tosca was performed in the Summer of 2022 across 7 different venues for a total of 9 performances, even overcoming a Covid crisis midway through the run! Over 750 people bought tickets and the reception of the audience was amazing.

Congratulations to all who were involved in the production, including  stage director Jane Clark, and MD Peter Blackwood who received the cup on behalf of the company.
