Bath Opera evening lectures

Last week Bath Opera hosted a highly successful event, ‘An evening with Isobel Buchanan’.

An audience of over 40 joined via Zoom to hear our distinguished patron give an entertaining account of her operatic career, her views on vocal technique and on changing fashion in directing and producing opera.

Encouraged by the success of this venture we will be hosting two more events in the coming months.

On Wednesday March 17th at 7.30pm Jane Clark (stage director) and Peter Blackwood(musical director) will talk about their plans for the 2021 touring production of The Barber of Seville. 

Then on Wednesday April 14th at 7.30pm stage director Neil Kirkman will give an introduction  to Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, our next main production scheduled for February 2022.
