OperaCorto – Summer Tour
OperaCorto is Bath Opera’s summer touring programme — a vibrant, intimate way to experience opera up close. These 90-minute productions, performed with piano and a small ensemble cast, bring the drama and beauty of opera to venues across the region, from historic houses to atmospheric rural settings.
Sung in English and shaped for smaller spaces, OperaCorto showcases emerging artists, engages new audiences, and gives our performers a chance to explore character and storytelling in fresh and dynamic ways. Each tour brings a new opera to life with immediacy, humour, colour, and warmth.
If you have a venue that you would like Bath Opera to perform in, we would be delighted to hear from you. OperaCorto is ideal for intimate spaces such as large private houses and gardens, churches, community halls, arts centres, and other characterful venues. We are always open to presenting full shows, semi-staged performances, or bespoke concert programmes for special occasions.
