Following our sell-out production of Carmen this past February, Bath Opera is delighted to announce its 2027 main production: Johann Strauss II’s sparkling operetta, Die Fledermaus, coming to the Roper Theatre in February 2027.

A glittering tale of revenge, romance, and mistaken identity, Die Fledermaus unfolds over one unforgettable evening of parties, disguises, and champagne-fuelled mischief. Beneath the comedy lies a sharp social satire, brought to life through Strauss’s irresistible waltzes and effervescent score.

This new production promises all the elegance, wit, and musical brilliance that make Die Fledermaus one of the most beloved operettas of all time.
