Summer Tour 2024 – Don Giovanni
Mozart’s ‘Don Giovanni’ will be Bath Opera’s summer tour in June and July 2024. Directors will be Dominic Irving (MD) and Harvey Evans (Stage Director).
About the production
In this thrilling adaptation of Mozart’s classic masterpiece, “Don Giovanni” finds new life within the confines of a family-owned country hotel. Giovanni’s tyrannical rule over guests and staff, with Leporello as his submissive underling, sets the stage for a captivating tale. As lives intertwine within the hotel’s walls, love and grief unfold amidst Giovanni’s deceitful games. With tension mounting and stakes escalating, Giovanni’s descent into darkness becomes inevitable, leaving a haunting legacy. This unforgettable operatic experience will resonate long after the final curtain falls.
